Loris



BORN IN NORTHEASTERN MEXICO INFLUENCED BY HER PALESTINIAN HERITAGE

She grew up listening to classical Arabic music without understanding the language, which helped her mix fragments of Arabic and Latin culture using electronic music, and with her productions, Loris unites the multiplicities of her cultural identity.

Currently based in Mexico City, being part of the electronic party scene, she has showcased her sound at numerous local club nights including national and international events. Also she has a series of parties called Zoco where brings new sounds of the diaspora from the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

RIDER


TECHNICAL RIDER

These are the specifications of the equipment required by the artist to perform at any event.

a) 3 PIONEER CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 (LINKED)

b) 1 PIONEER DJM 900 NXS2 or PIONEER DJ DJM-V10

c) 2 Monitors of 300 or 400 watts

d) 1 Subwoofer

e) Table or surface of 1.60 meters x 50 cm for equipment; 1.20 meters high.

* There must be enough space in the table or booth to place drinks and other items without affecting the space of the equipment or putting it at risk

* Players and mixer must be connected via LAN/Ethernet

* All buttons / faders / knobs on the mixer must work properly

* The volume of the monitor must be controlled by the mixer in the cabin

* In case of problems to provide this equipment, the artist must be notified immediately

Soundcheck

Preferential schedule: before lunch/dinner (can change at the request of the artist)
Approximate duration: 45 / 60 minutes

A sound engineer, or club/venue audio manager, must be present and on the lookout at all times during the soundcheck and during the event

HOSPITALITY

Transportation

A van/car with a driver for the days of arrival and departure from the city, for transportation to and from the hotel/event and any other necessary place during their stay.

In cases in which there is a prior agreement to use a transportation service, the cost of these must be reimbursed at the time of arrival.

Accommodation

A room in a hotel with breakfast and internet included, late check-out and as close as possible to the location of the event.

Request for a change of hotel if necessary, either due to lack of sanitary conditions, security or malfunction of basic comfort needs, such as bathrooms with hot water, beds, air conditioning and/or heating.

The Promoter will bear all the accommodation and travel expenses.

Accreditations / Catering

* Dinner before the event

* Alcoholic drinks: 1 bottle of Gin with tonic water and lemons or Mezcal (good one please) or Whiskey with mineral water or Sake.

* Non-alcoholic drinks: 6 bottles of natural water, 3 bottle of Coconut Water and 1 Coca Cola.

* Snacks: Chips (cheese, spicy flavors or salt), 1 chocolate 80% dark or Yellow M&M’s, Dry Fruits (Date, Plum, Peach) and Nuts.

In case that the artist brings a companion, the promoter must oblige with all the specifications requested, focused only on the artist.

Legal warning

The document will be send via email and must read carefully, since failure to comply with any of the points mentioned may be grounds for the contract to be canceled. 

Cancellation reasons:

* Not meeting rider specifications

* Failure to meet transport specifications

* Failure to meet the specifications of the accommodation

* Any reason that threatens the security of the artist
